Diagnosis and Symptoms

I am 46 years old and have suffered from dyspepsia for more than 20 years. I have had a great improvement recently thanks to a new medication, but it seems that this improvement came with symptoms of diabetes. Is it possible that a suddenly more rapid digestion put an increased load on my pancreas? Is this a temporary adjustment or is it diabetes?

My 11 year old son has Type 1 diabetes. My 8 year old daughter had a physical and the doctor said she had trace glucose in her urine. I checked her sugar on my son’s meter; it was 107. Does this mean that my daughter will most likely develop diabetes down the road?

I usually feel very fatigued in the morning and also about an hour after I eat lunch. I asked my physician if I possibly had some type of hypoglycemia. He told me to monitor my ingestion of carbohydrates and other simple sugars. He did not do any kind of blood sugar tests. My symptoms include severe headaches, shakiness (small tremors in hands), and inability to concentrate.

He is still gaining weight and the dark line around the back of his neck and dark pigmentation under his arms is getting more pronounced. I am having a hard time finding any information on this and am not sure how to handle it.
