I have been told I have gestational diabetes, but think they might be overcautious. I did my own 75 gram test and this came out much lower. Did I have a problem? If so, could it have off?

I am 31 years, six months pregnant, and, in my early teens I was diagnosed as having a low renal threshold. My obstetrician ordered a three-hour glucose tolerance test, and we are awaiting the results. Could my low renal threshold make it appear as though I have gestational diabetes?

Can your blood sugar go low enough to go into the same kind of coma that a person with diabetes can go into even if you don’t have diabetes?

What should be the maximum and lowest blood sugar for a 50 year old person? What should be the normal upper and lower limits of blood pressure for a 50 year old person?

My son does not wear his pump for football games, so his blood sugar goes too high, and, often, he has to sit out. Is there any way he can wear the pump, or can you give any suggestions to keep the sugar down?

My 78 year old mother-in-law has type 2 diabetes for which she is taking Glucophage, Glyburide and Actos. Her physician has suggested taking BiosLife 2 and says that it may eliminate the need for some of these medications. Is there any evidence to this effect to justify the expense of $60 per month?
