I was diagnosed as having Granuloma Annulare. My mother and maternal grandfather both have/had diabetes. I am 32 years old and have regularly been tested for diabetes always resulting negative, even throughout my three pregnancies. I am having trouble understanding why, at my age, I should be getting them.

My four year old son, diagnosed at 14 months, has been receiving his injections in the back of his arms and upper thighs. Lately, on some occasions, the insulin will not go in and runs down or is very difficult to push through. Can the injection area cause this?

I am 40 years old. I am on 15 units of Regular and 15 units of NPH insulin in the morning and 5 units of Regular and 15 units of NPH insulin in the evening. I think that I am eating right, but for whatever reason, my sugar level is high. What can I do to bring it under control?

My granddaughter has had diabetes since the age of four and will soon be five. I worry about her blood sugar dropping while she sleeps and the possibility of her going into seizures. Is there some kind of monitor to alert parents that the child is having a seizure other than a baby monitor?
