My 22 month old daughter was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes about 5 months ago. I am very concerned about the eating habits we are establishing in our effort to avoid lows. I am finding myself bribing, chasing, and tricking her to get her to eat.

I am 25 and have recently been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. After about four weeks on very low doses of insulin (3 units a day), I was able to live for three months without any treatment. What does this mean?
