My mother’s family has an extensive family history of autoimmune diseases, and about six months ago, my two year old little girl was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. Do you know of anyone interested in studying our family and the obvious genetic connection with us?

Is there any permanent treatment for this dreadful disease possible in the near future (one to two years)? Is there a possibility of temporary diabetes occurring in a child?
