Two years ago, our identical twin sons were diagnosed with renal glycosuria. They are now 5 years old. Sugar is usually present in their urine, but all blood tests have been normal. Recently, our healthy 8 year old daughter was treated for a UTI. White blood cells and protein were present.

I am a 55 year old male with a 12 year history of Type 2 diabetes. I experience a lot of lows, the only downside to which, I understand, is increasingly reduced sensitivity to same. Is there anything besides not having lows that will slow or minimize reduction in sensitivity to lows?

I am a 30 year old woman with epilepsy who was recently diagnosed with diabetes. I is not classed as Type 1 or Type 2, but under “other” as it came from having pancreatitis. Is there any correlation between having epilepsy and having diabetes?

My 22 month old daughter has been having tremors at night and the first thing when she wakes up. Otherwise, she is a healthy, normal child. I was told she is having essential tremors and needs to be treated with medication. Could she have some form of diabetes?

My son was diagnosed with ketotic hypoglycemia when he was 11 months old. His doctor recently suggested that he may have a rare metabolic disorder. Can you shed any light on what the disorder may be called? The doctor said it involved a lack of ability for the liver to process protein into sugar.
