My teen niece was diagnosed with type 1 by the pediatrician. She was given no treatment plan, not even a glucometer. She is rebelling, refusing to acknowledge the diagnosis. She says she will never give herself injections. What can I do to help her through this? I’ve lived with type 1 for 31 years.
