Our six year old son has had seizure-like shaking and sweating at night. My husband was diagnosed with diabetes less than a year ago and has a machine, so we checked my son’s blood sugar in the morning once a couple of months ago after he had a bad night with those symptoms, and it was on the high side. Could this be diabetes?

My three year old child has breath that frequently smells like acetone, and someone once told me if breath smells of acetone, it’s a strong indicator that they have diabetes. I don’t know if that’s even true, but it has me worried.

My 22 year old son, who has had diabetes since he was 14, is very depressed over his diabetes. Is there any place that can help him start to get his diabetes under some kind of control and help him emotionally? I’m so worried about him, but I cannot find anyone who can help, and I feel like I am losing my son.

I have had type 1 diabetes for about eight years and have learned to live with it very very well, but lately, it has been getting cold I have had a big problem with my feet warm, and my blood sugars have been skyrocketing.
