A family member, who has type 2 diabetes and was in the hospital for a long stay, developed a bedsore on the buttocks, and we are looking for additional suggestions to help the healing. I saw that there is a gel for foot ulcers being looked at that helps healing. Would this be something that can be used in this situation? Any other suggestions?
My daughter complains of being tired, but has a problem sleeping and she said she starts shaking in midmorning. She prefers a high carbohydrate diet. Because we have family member with type 2 diabetes, I have checked some blood sugars 30 minutes after meals which have been 100-166 mg/dl [5.6-9.2 mmol/L] Is this abnormal?

Her doctor wants to test the baby for some antibody when the baby is about nine months or so old so, to see if it’s “safe” to start feeding cow’s milk. What test could possibly determine that?

The Emergency Room physician about his elevated blood sugar said that this was caused by stress. Is this possible?
