I just wanted to comment on a recent question in which a man had trouble with hypoglycemia after changing his infusion set and cartridge on his pump. Is it possible that he is putting Humalog that is straight out of the refrigerator into the pump into the pump? As the insulin warms up in the pump, it expands, therefore infusing slightly more insulin than anticipated.

I am 38 years old and pregnant with my second child. During my last pregnancy I had a slightly elevated one-hour glucose test result and a normal three-hour GTT. This time my oen-hour result was 179 mg/dl [9.9 mmol/L]. I am so concerned with this result that I have been following a low-carb diet and have increased my exercise. Is it a good idea to modify my diet now?
