I just found out that I am five weeks pregnant, and I am concerned because I had an episode of high blood sugar with ketones a few days ago. How worried should I be? Is there anything I can do?

I see so many situations in which type 1 is passed on that your numbers of 2%-5% shock me! Where are you getting your figures?

I have lost seven and one-half pounds since getting pregnant. My obstetrician told me I must go on insulin and that I have a very good chance of developing diabetes after this baby comes. Should I be concerned with the weight loss?
