My ten year old son is having low blood sugars. He does not have diabetes. His endocrinologist has prescribed medication. I am hesitant to start medication without further for a reason as to why his blood sugar is low. Am I overly worried about the medication?

My three year old daughter has had type 1 diabetes for about a year. She is getting two types of insulin twice a day using syringes. I want to shift her to insulin pens. What should be done to shift to insulin pens?
